An article in today's Wall Street Journal highlights findings from the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index that business owners come out on top of all other occupations in terms of happiness.



The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index is constructed using a thousand person daily sample in the United States.  It measures six areas:
  • Life Evaluation
  • Emotional Health
  • Physical Health
  • Healthy Behavior
  • Work Environment
  • Basic Access
