Kauffman Foundation's Robert Litan puts spotlight on long-term economic growth
"Can the new President break Washington's addiction to short-term goals and special interests?" That's the question being asked of a panel of experts participating in NewTalk.org 's live online forum Sept. 9, 10 and 11. NewTalk.org hosts forums in which experts discuss topics currently shaping American society.
Robert Litan, vice president of Research and Policy at the Kauffman Foundation, will join politicians, authors, writers and policy reform advocates as a panel participant. Litan will focus on long-term solutions to economic challenges. "While there are many immediate economic concerns on the minds of the candidates—as well as voters—an insightful candidate will look past a quick fix and consider how he can sustain economic growth."
The Kauffman Foundation has published a list of questions for the presidential candidates asking them how they will sustain America's economic productivity for the long-term.
