Rebecca Haessig is a manager in Education for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation, Haessig was an associate with the Strategy and Organization practice at Booz Allen Hamilton. At Booz Allen she worked with public sector entities to develop and implement strategy, improve business processes, and manage change initiatives across their organizations.
Previously, Haessig worked at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, a political development organization, on the Institute’s Middle East and North Africa programs. For two years, she led the Institute’s programs in the West Bank and Gaza, where she designed and launched a technical assistance program to strengthen Palestinian civic organizations. She also worked on the Institute’s programs in Yemen.
Haessig earned a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, where she was selected as a Rappaport Public Policy Fellow. She holds a bachelor’s degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia.
