Gifted Students Receive Support Through Next Generation Venture Fund
Thanks to the Next Generation Venture Fund (NGVF), 25 Kansas City area gifted youth are receiving the support they need to be successful. NGVF identifies and invests in academically talented, underrepresented young people with limited financial means who have the potential to succeed in the classroom and beyond. The program provides them with services to prepare them to attend some of the top colleges across the country.

Seeing is believing on May 6 as thousands of area students converge on Bartle Hall for the ninth annual iBuild Showcase. Formerly known as Crayons to CAD, the event is held each spring to build awareness among Missouri and Kansas middle and high schoolers of the career tracks available in construction, including engineering, architecture, contracting, and the skilled trades.

The Kauffman Thoughtbook is the flagship communication piece for the Kauffman Foundation. The Thoughtbook serves as our annual report. It tells the story of the Kauffman Foundation through essays written by our associates at the Foundation and the influential thought leaders we work with to advance educational achievement and entrepreneurial success.
Working with partners at Public Impact, the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools conducted this study to explore the charter school movement in Missouri, after 10 years of charter school operation. The researchers studied data to understand the current status of Missouri charter schools, and the factors that shaped charter school policy in the state.
