Research Reports

As the nation's largest private funder of economic research, the Kauffman Foundation engages leading scholars to study every aspect of entrepreneurship and its impact on the economy. The academic research we support serves as a springboard for our work in the policy and programmatic areas. Empirical work that probes the fundamentals of entrepreneurship is key to understanding the policies that create hospitable conditions for entrepreneurship. In addition to the reports you will find here, many of our grantees publish in more traditional academic publications.
