Karen Robinson is the finance specialist for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, formerly of Kauffman Shared Services (KSS). She joined KSS in late 2010 and the Foundation in April 2012. She is responsible for coordinating financial and administrative services for the affiliates as well as the Kauffman Foundation’s accounts payables. Earlier, Robinson worked directly with the controller of a high-growth, entrepreneurial software company in Dallas, Tex., that completed over eight acquisitions in her five years there.
Prior to that, Robinson worked at Sprint for ten years as a conference call coordinator and long distance operator, while going to school at Johnson County Community College. Her future goal is to complete an accounting degree and continue to be an integral part of the Foundation, providing exceptional service to the affiliates and Foundation.
