Rachel Carlton provides support for the Entrepreneurship team of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Carlton was an executive assistant to the founder and chairman of Joie de Vivre, in San Francisco, where she handled media inquires and public appearance requests for the chairman, co-authored his monthly e-newsletter, managed speaking engagements, and organized special events. In addition, she was a member of the Joie de Vivre Executive Committee.
Earlier, she was a personal assistant to a business owner in New York.
Carlton earned a BA in English Literature from Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. She is a founding member of Premier Assistants International.
