Valerie Sanford is a coordinator in finance for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, and provides support for the Foundation’s accounts payable function, financial policies and practices, and operating budget. Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Sanford was an administrative assistant for Knight-Ridder Business Information Services, Inc. in Leawood, Kan. Earlier, she was an executive secretary for Consolidated Cigar Co. in Kansas City, Mo. Sanford earned a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from University of Missouri-Kansas City.
