This Week in Entrepreneurship Policy

Entrepreneurial pulse

Members of Congress are scheduled to leave Washington for the start of their five-week recess at the end of this week. With a general election looming later this year, you can expect plenty of posturing in the next several days to accompany a collection of committee hearings. According to The Hill, House Democrats will be clamoring to postpone the recess while Politico says House Republicans are pushing for a solution to the immediate immigration crisis.  As a backdrop to the political wrangling, the following topics will be covered by hearings: the America Invents Act, nanotechnology and innovation, tax reform, immigration and more.
