It promises to be a very quiet week on Capitol Hill. Members of the House are back in their home districts for a constituent work week and will return next Monday. Meanwhile, members of the Senate are in town but there isn't much on the radar in terms of relevant committee hearings. For those focused on the issues surrounding women and entrepreneurship, the Senate Budget Committee will examine "expanding economic opportunity for women and families." Scheduled witnesses are Dr. Heather Boushey, executive director and chief economist at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth and a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress; AnnMarie Duchon, associate director of accommodation services at University of Massachusetts-Amherst; and Sabrina Schaeffer, executive director of the Independent Women's Forum.
