This Week in Entrepreneurship Policy: Double-dose of FCC

With August recess looming, members of the Federal Communications Commission make a couple of appearances on Capitol Hill this week.

On Tuesday, the House Energy and Commerce Committee host FCC chairman Tom Wheeler and commissioner Ajit Pai to continue to examine concerns over a broadcast spectrum incentive auction planned for 2016, privacy and FCC process reform.  The following day, FCC commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel testifies before the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation "to explore U.S. spectrum policy and how it should be improved to accommodate consumers' growing demands for wireless broadband."

 

Meanwhile, the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship will consider several pieces of new legislation:
