A delegation dedicated to social innovation sought to answer that very question during SIS Learning Journey: Kansas City

A two-day tour introduced 45 Social Innovation Summit Learning Journey delegates, from foundations and corporations across the country, to the innovation education landscape in Kansas City, Missouri. The SIS Learning Journey provided an opportunity to understand firsthand the insights, programs and innovation driving social impact in KC.

Delegates experienced onsite, interactive sessions at Google Fiber, the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Ewing Marion Kauffman SchoolJE DunnOperation Breakthrough, and Populous, as well as with Kansas City Mayor Sly James and other change-makers in KC. The Kauffman Foundation joined them on their journey to listen and learn together to create uncommon solutions for the challenges of today, while also planning far into the future.
