Registration Now Closed for Coaching for Excellence Series
Coaching for Excellence is a professional development series that brings together instructional coaches and mentors from throughout the Kansas City area to gain new insight and tools to help them build solid relationships with teachers and improve the level of instruction in their schools. The eight-session series takes place over a four-month period. It is being presented by Heart of Change, an organization that works with school districts and businesses throughout the world providing systems and individual change training.
All sessions (now full) will take place at the Kauffman Foundation from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a continental breakfast and lunch provided.
Coaching for Excellence Series -- Trainer of Trainers
Heart of Change is taking the series a step further for past participants with the Coaching for Excellence Series -- Trainer of Trainers. Open to past participants who were members of Cadres 1 and 2, the series focuses on training coaches and mentors to deliver the Coaching for Excellence workshops in their schools. Coaches interested in participating must apply for the series. Applicants will be notified by Friday, Sept. 21 as to whether or not they have been selected to participate.
The five-day series will take place at the Kauffman Foundation from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following dates (an administrative breakfast will precede the first session and the last session from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.)
*In addition to the five sessions, Trainer of Trainers participants must also attend the Cadre 3 Coaching for Excellence Series noted above to assist, interact, and observe.
