CDF Freedom School at American Royal in Photos

CDF Freedom School scholars enjoyed Discover Agriculture Day held at the American Royal on July 16, 2007. The field trip was sponsored by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, a major supporter of the Kansas City CDF Freedom School initiative.

Students began the day with Harambee, a Swahili tradition that translates to "let's pull together" and fosters feelings of positive self-worth.
