The Voyage Exhibition was a gift given to the city as part of the Kauffman Foundation's educational outreach to promote learning in mathematics, engineering, science and technology.
The Voyage Exhibition was designed as a centerpiece for sustainable community-wide science education, with programming and content tailored to a community’s needs. All programming and educational materials for the Voyage exhibition are provided through the Journey through the Universe program. Available assets include: Grade K–12 lessons grown from the National Science Education Standards and directly relevant to the earth and space science strand of your science curriculum.
The Voyage Education Module includes an Education Unit at four grade levels: lower elementary (K–2); upper elementary (3–4); middle (5–8); and high school (9–12). Due to the concentration on Solar System content at grades 5–8 in the National Science Education Standards, the Center developed a Supplemental Grade 5–8 Education Unit titled The Voyage Continues.
