Global Entrepreneurship Week 2008

An International Celebration of Entrepreneurship

For one week in 2008, November 17 through November 23, millions of people around the world joined a growing entrepreneurial movement to generate bold new ideas and to seek better ways of doing things. The world's first Global Entrepreneurship Week introduced the notion of enterprising behavior to as many young people as possible, connecting in networks that crossed national boundaries, cultures and disciplines. Inspirational entrepreneurs coached and mentored the next generation of enterprise talent as they pursued their entrepreneurial dreams to create the businesses that will drive the world's economic health.
