A new public service announcement produced by the Kauffman Foundation reminds us of the power of innovative entrepreneurs whose energy and insights lead to breakthrough technologies, put people to work, renew our economy and advance social welfare. With entrepreneurship at the center of the global economic stage, our message is simple: an entrepreneur with an idea can change the world.

Global Entrepreneurship Week: Nov. 16-22, 2009 — Following on the heels of GEW 2008, which involved more than 75 countries, Global Entrepreneurship Week 2009 will reach millions more aspiring young entrepreneurs. The Foundation and the UK's Make Your Mark organization are the founders of this week, and have secured the global sponsorship of NYSE Euronext. Hot Shot BusinessThis award winning Disney-Kauffman game teaches young people about the excitement and opportunity of starting and running a business, with the help of animated mentors Jack and Kate. All-Terrain BrainBased on a series of fun videos, this program encourages kids to take their brain "off road," explore new ways of thinking, and tap into their inner potential as an entrepreneur. Kids ages 8-12 develop the self-confidence, perseverance, motivation, and creative thinking skills that are all part of being an entrepreneur. Check it out at www.allterrainbrain.org.





FastTracTMDesigned for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs, these practical, hands-on business development programs help individuals hone the skills needed to create, manage, and grow a successful business. Available in all 50 states, and outside the U.S. in Australia and Russia, more than 200,000 people have been reached through FastTrac programs in the United States since 1993.
