Excursion Highlights

Tuesday, October 6 – Balloon Fiesta Museum – 5:15 p.m. departure
Enjoy a reception sponsored by Technology Ventures Corporation.
If your flight arrives by 4:45 p.m., we'll expect you in the lobby of the Hyatt hotel for transportation. Bus departs the hotel at 5:15 p.m. sharp.

Thursday, October 8 – Mayor's Breakfast – Balloon Fiesta Museum – 5 a.m. departure
Even if you attended the balloon glow, you've not seen a balloon ascension! It is not to be missed! Hundreds of balloons rise into the desert skies at dawn—all shapes, all sizes, many of them character balloons. Please join Mayor Berry at the Balloon Museum for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Bus departs the hotel at 5 a.m., and you'll be back in time for the meeting.

Thursday, October 8 – Massive Balloon Glow/Fireworks – Balloon Fiesta Museum 6 .m. departure
This is the place to be while in Albuquerque, and that's EXACTLY why our event is over these dates. If you're still in town, make this trek with us to experience the world-famous balloon glow and fireworks show. Hundreds of balloons fire at once, creating a beautiful nighttime sky experience.

Friday, October 9 – Santa Fe Excursion – 6:45 a.m. departure
Bus will drop you at the train station to ride the Rail Runner train straight into the artists' lair, Santa Fe! This quick trip provides a brief tour of Santa Fe until 11:30 a.m., followed by a fabulous brunch. Transportation will return you to Albuquerque in time for an afternoon flight, or choose to stay on in Santa Fe for the weekend. Santa Fe Tourism has negotiated a special rate at the beautiful Hotel St. Francis.

Named for the patron saint of Santa Fe, NM, the historic Hotel St. Francis embodies the authentic spirit of old Santa Fe, with handcrafted wood furniture by local artisans inspired by the Palace of the Governors, and a palette of natural colors reflecting the days of Santa Fe's early Franciscan missionaries. Amenities: Cocktail Lounge, Restaurant.
