Behind the Scenes at TEDxKC

A Kauffman Foundation video goes behind the scenes at TEDxKC to follow Jase Wilson, winner of the 2014 TEDxKC Challenge to present an idea with the power to change the narrative in Kansas City.

An active member of Kansas City’s vibrant startup community, Wilson is the cofounder and CEO of Neighbor.ly, an online platform designed to help neighborhoods, cities, and public/private partnerships seek, attract, and generate new sources of funding.

With support from the Kauffman Foundation and fellow top-tier sponsor VML, TEDxKC brings a diverse group of speakers and performers with original perspectives to a Kansas City audience. The sixth annual TEDxKC event was held on August 9, 2014, at Helzberg Hall of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

TEDxKC in Kansas City is a local, self-organized TEDx event modeled after TED Talks and videos that originated thirty years ago at a conference in Monterey, Calif.
