Enrollment Open from January 9 to March 2
(Kansas City, Mo.) Jan. 11, 2012 -- The Ewing Marion Kauffman School is currently enrolling students who will be in fifth grade for the 2012-2013 school year. The charter school is free and open to any student living within the boundaries of the Kansas City, Missouri School District. Should the Kauffman School receive more enrollment forms than the number of available seats, students will be selected by random lottery, which will be conducted in March. Students living within the following zip codes will receive priority in the enrollment process and lottery: 64123, 64124, 64127, 64128, and 64130. Enrollment forms are available beginning January 9 and should be submitted online at www.kauffmanschool.org prior to March 2 in order to be entered into the lottery.
To visit and learn more about the Kauffman School, information meetings are being held for parents at 4251 Bridger Road 64111. Meetings will be held on Tuesday, January 24, from 6 to 7 p.m., Saturday, February 11 from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, February 25, from 10 to 11 a.m., and Tuesday, February 28, from 6 to 7 p.m.
