Focusing legal scholars on growth and innovation
An invitation-only event, the Kauffman Summer Legal Institute (KSLI) is part of the Kauffman Foundation's Law, Innovation, and Growth initiative; a five-year program designed to foster legal scholarship in entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic growth.
The inaugural KSLI meeting in the summer of 2008 brought together legal and economic scholars to present and discuss cutting-edge research on topics related to law, innovation, and growth. Presenters described their current working papers on legal scholarship related to law, innovation, and growth, and participants offered comments. The next meeting will be held in 2009.
