Designing charts and graphs is about more than making things look pretty. It’s about educating your audiences in ways that help them to take action. The Kauffman Foundation welcomes Kansas City nonprofit organizations to send a representative to this two-hour workshop to learn how to transform data and charts into an effective and memorable story.

This free workshop will teach data visualization best practices and provide detailed handouts that outline steps to take in the future. After this session, attendees will be better able to package and display their data so it gets remembered.

The presenter, Dr. Stephanie Evergreen of Evergreen Data, has trained evaluators and non-evaluators worldwide through keynote presentations and workshops. Her clients include the United Nations, Brookings Institute, Rockefeller Foundation, American Bar Association, American Institutes for Research and MasterCard Foundation. Dr. Evergreen founded the topical interest group on data visualization and reporting within the American Evaluation Association.
