The Ewing Marion Kauffman School will begin accepting applications in January for its next class of fifth-grade students.
Each year the school welcomes a new class of 200 fifth-grade students. Growing by one grade level each year, the school eventually will serve students in grades 5 through 12.
The Kauffman School, located at 6401 The Paseo, is a tuition-free public charter school located within the boundaries of the Kansas City Public Schools district. It serves students from Kansas City’s lowest-income urban neighborhoods.
