Missouri College Advising Corps

Part of the highly successful National College Advising Corps, Missouri College Advising Corps is a leader in providing advisory services to help underserved high school students identify "best fit" pathways that lead to postsecondary completion.

Recent graduates of the University of Missouri serve as "near-peer" advisers in fourteen Kansas City high schools with significant low-income enrollments and low college-going rates.

Advisors work directly with students in their high schools on college preparation, scholarship, and financial aid applications to help them attend postsecondary institutions where they are most likely to complete a four-year, two-year, or technical degree/certification program.
