The Program Officer will be responsible for rigorously evaluating potential grantees, both remotely and in person, based on financial and organizational capacity, as well as strategic fit; review grant proposals; ensure grants are aligned with program strategies; report clearly defined outcomes/metrics; manage and oversee assigned grant portfolio, including monitoring grantee spending and performance; assist in connecting and convening grantees to share best practices of their work, and help inform the field of best practices to reduce barriers; identify program partners for implementation; and more.
Qualified candidates must be highly motivated, capable of self-directed work, detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively across teams and departments. Incumbents must exhibit a keen sense of responsibility and enjoy working with multiple demands, shifting priorities and constant change.
