Senior Analyst in Evaluation

Brett Hembree is a senior analyst in Evaluation for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where his work contributes to the design of an evaluation framework used to measure the impact of the Foundation’s work and develop key learnings that drive constantly improving strategies. Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Hembree was the managing director of admissions research and evaluation for Teach For America (TFA), where his responsibilities included setting the vision and strategy for the organization’s national selection criteria, conducting research on the admissions model, and communicating and implementing improvements on an ongoing basis.

Hembree earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Kansas State University and a Master of Public Affairs, from Princeton University. He was a founding board member of Citizens of the World Charter School.
