French is a program officer in Education for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where she supports education-focused initiatives through program development, project management, building relationships, and conducting research. She contributes to all areas of education programming and grantmaking.
Earlier, she was an external partnership coordinator for Kauffman Scholars, Inc., where her duties included working to develop and maintain community partnerships for the Kauffman Scholars program in order to provide college and career preparation and enrichment services for the students.
She also was the director of the StartupScholars Internship Program, where she managed sixty interns and thirty-seven partner organizations.
French earned a Master of Arts degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Kansas. In addition, she was awarded a certificate in grantsmanship from the University fo Missouri.
She also serves as a board member for Pages & Chapters, a non-profit organization that provides support, resources, and encouragement to urban families in order to foster literacy skills.
