Senior Program Officer in Entrepreneurship
Hillary Beuschel is a senior program officer in Entrepreneurship for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where she supports entrepreneurship-focused initiatives through program and grant development, program management, building relationships and conducting research. She also works with the team to develop, implement and monitor department-wide processes for grant preparation and review.
Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Beuschel was a program officer with The H & R Block Foundation and Marion and Henry Bloch Family Foundation. In these roles, she was responsible for the foundations’ grantmaking within the areas of human services, neighborhood revitalization and arts and culture. She also represented the foundations on various community and funder initiatives, including the Greater Kansas City Homelessness Task Force, Greater Kansas City Financial Opportunity Centers Network, Neighborhoods Rising Fund and United for Hope/United to Help. Beuschel began her career in philanthropy as a senior nonprofit specialist with the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation.
Beuschel earned a Bachelor of Science in political science from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich.
