Kevin Bowman is the director of Information Technology for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where he develops and executes the technology strategy for the information technology team in their work to advance critical technology priorities and provide the ongoing support and maintenance that keeps all of our systems running effectively. Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Bowman was the owner and principle architect for New Eden Consulting Group, where he helped Kansas City area small and startup organizations identify and implement their technology strategy. He previously served as vice president of engineering at Pythian / Blackbird IT / PalominoDB, where his worked included business development, client relationship management, technical team development and database and systems administration for clients such as Obama For America, Pinterest, Fitbit, Chegg, Sendgrid, Okta and Zendesk. He also worked in various technical capacities during a seventeen-year stint with Garmin International.
Bowman earned his Bachelor of Science in computer engineering from Kansas State University.
