Lynn Bainter is the HR Manager for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. Her work focuses on compensation administration; employee relations; performance evaluation and management; recruiting; HR policy and compliance; and HR process administration. She previously was the finance coordinator for Kauffman Shared Services and was responsible for human resources, payroll, and contract administration for each affiliate.
Before joining the Kauffman Foundation, Bainter spent eight years with Sprint, where she was most recently a financial analyst II responsible for forecasting and budgeting the network engineering operations expense budget and performing financial analysis. Earlier, Bainter was an entrepreneur, spending five years as a business owner and was an accounting manager with VisionComm, Inc., in St. Charles, Mo.
Bainter received a Bachelor of Science in accounting and human resource management from Webster University, in St. Louis, Mo.
