Senior Business & Content Development Manager
Michele Markey is a senior business & content development manager in Entrepreneurship for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where she supports product and market development for Kauffman Founder Education, including new content development, platform development and affiliate relations.
Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Markey was the vice president of Kauffman FastTrac. Markey’s background includes successful leadership at Applebee's International and Wolseley North America, and she has been a featured expert for the American Management Association. Markey has worked with hundreds of businesses to develop their learning and development strategy, including Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Store, University of California Berkeley, The Gap, Sprint and Coca Cola. Additionally, she serves on the Chief Learning Officer Intelligence board.
Markey earned her undergraduate degrees in political science and social studies from William Woods University and a master’s degree in business from Webster University.
