Districts in the Kansas City metro found innovative ways to pilot Client-Connected Projects amidst a pandemic

Building relationships between school districts and local employers is no small feat, especially during a school year when the pandemic made just connecting a barrier. Despite the challenges, 15 districts in the Kansas City metro found innovative ways to pilot a variety of Client-Connected Projects (CCPs), which bring together students and local professionals to create solutions for real questions and problems facing local industries, nonprofits, and community organizations.

From Kearney to Olathe and Raymore-Peculiar to Overland Park, this interactive map highlights some of the projects districts, students, and their communities undertook during the 2020-2021 school year.
