Peer Wisdom for Real World Learning

Real World Learning (RWL) is where your work comes to life for every student. Building off of core content, students can now leverage their learning and apply it to real life challenges. But how to bring MVAs into your school? Start by learning from others.

This document is a snapshot of the school districts and charter schools participating in the RWL initiative. Information for each was collected from the reports submitted at the end of their design and planning year. Learn more about the school districts and charter schools [PDF] >

School District Pitches

In May 2020, after a year of designing and planning, 15 school districts pitched their Real World Learning strategic plans. Each outlined their individual goals for how their students will achieve MVAs prior to graduation.

RWL Thematic Webinars

Real World Learning partnered with Getting Smart to provide a series of virtual sessions that focus on expanding and enhancing our region’s shared understanding of what MVAs are, why they matter, and how to provide them.
