Some specific responsibilities include:
Prepare tax return work papers, tax estimates, and related projections for the Foundation and provide support to external tax accountants during completion of annual filings of the Foundation’s tax returns.
Perform monthly investment accounting procedures, including investment journal entries, reconciliations, and investment accounting reports.
Prepare necessary documentation for the Foundation’s annual consolidated audits and provide accounting support during the audits.
Education and experience:
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, business management, finance, or related degree is required. A CPA (or other professional designation) with previous public accounting experience, specifically in tax, is preferred.
Work experience: Must have a professional track record of at least four years of tax and investment related experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
