Ashley Rudd is a postsecondary retention specialist with Kauffman Scholars, Inc. (KSI), where she works with more than 100 scholars at the collegiate level, guiding and nurturing their academic, social and emotional growth, contributing to her students’ goal of overall postsecondary success.
Prior to joining KSI in 2013 as a secondary coach primarily working with high school students, Rudd worked as a support services coordinator for the Platte County Board of Services. There, she directed case management for 32 consumers providing advocacy and coordination of services, while also linking community resources to county residents with developmental disabilities. Additionally, she spent two years with the North Kansas City School District as a special education instructional assistant.
Rudd earned her Bachelor of Science in applied behavioral science with an emphasis in youth development and juvenile justice from the University of Kansas.
