Mark Beam is the director of innovation and design in Entrepreneurship for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where he focuses on the development of new approaches and opportunities related to the future of work and learning through design-led experiential learning.
Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Beam co-developed many types of interventions with a great number of diverse partners within national and international ecosystems by combining anticipatory design, culture, collaboration, and investment through his own firm, beaming.com.
Beam earned a Bachelor of Science in business, a Master of Business Administration and his Juris Doctor from Creighton University. He is the author of the forthcoming book, INTEGRITY: The Search for ME in the Age of We. Beam has served as a board member for several organizations, including the Buckminster Fuller Institute in San Francisco and CATAPULTA in Mexico. He is also a co-founder of SOCAP, the Social Capital Market Conference. Beam is a frequent keynote speaker for events in the United States and internationally.
