The Kauffman Foundation's annual Mayors Conference on Entrepreneurship brings mayors and entrepreneurship experts together to discuss ways to promote startup activity and encourage higher levels of entrepreneurship in their cities.
The conference is held in a different city each year in collaboration with that city's mayor.

The 2015 conference: "Recipes for Growth" was held in Albuquerque, NM in partnership with Mayor Richard J. Berry and addressed what local factors truly foster entrepreneurial activity.
The 2014 conference: "Making an Entrepreneurial City" was held in Louisville, Ky, in partnership with Mayor Greg Fischer and explored the growing "Maker Movement."
The inaugural conference was held in Kansas City, Mo., in 2013, and hosted in partnership with Kansas City Mayor Sly James. Two papers on metro entrepreneurship issues were presented at this conference.
