This will be the 7th annual event, and will bring together influential thought leaders and practitioners from across the country with teachers and leaders of color in the Kansas City region. This year’s conference will occur on Friday and Saturday, November 10-11, 2023 at the Kauffman Conference Center (4801 Rockhill Road, Kansas City, MO 64110). Here, passionate teachers and dedicated school leaders will step into the spotlight, armed with visionary projects designed to reshape the future of education and positively impact their students and schools. With two winners selected from each category, the competition is fierce, yet supportive, and the stakes are high. These extraordinary projects are the embodiment of the transformative power of education, and their creators are ready to prove it in just three minutes. Four winners will receive $10,000 gift cards from DonorsChoose to fund their projects.
