Foundation welcomes two directors to new positions

Brian Todd and Jackson Winsett join the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation Technology team

Hires bring depth and expertise to IT operations strategy.

The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation hired two directors for new positions on the Technology team: Brian Todd, director – information security and information technology (IT) operations, and Jackson Winsett, director – IT business relations and solutions.

Led by Chief Information Technology Officer Donell Hammond, the Technology team works to advance and align technology priorities in support of the Foundation’s mission. Todd and Winsett’s roles are key to advance the team’s commitment to enhance and support infrastructure, systems performance, and service delivery.

Brian and Jackson bring an immense amount of depth and expertise. These roles will drive significant impact for the effectiveness of the Foundation’s tech systems and workflows.

Todd is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the Foundation’s enterprise-wide information security, data management and governance, and IT operations strategy. His role oversees cybersecurity, systems administration, cloud services, network infrastructure, endpoint management, and vendor support.

Winsett is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight for aligning technology services with the operational needs of the Foundation, as well as consulting across departments to understand business workflows, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and recommending the most effective systems, tools, and solutions to support strategic objectives.
