Abrillia Whitson

Abrillia Whitson is a projects and events coordinator with Strategic Communications for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where she provides project and event coordination support to advance the Foundation’s vision and priorities, focusing on execution and logistics for projects and sponsorships.

Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Whitson was a NextGen leader and divisional training/program specialist with Young Life, where she ran divisional training sessions, events, and projects across five states for more than 300 staff and volunteers. She is a founding member of Pink Blazer Co., advocating for women’s health and cyclical living, and assist with the Black Community Fund’s scholarship program process. She is also a certified WERQ dance fitness instructor, teaching group dance fitness classes at local Genesis Health Clubs.

Whitson earned her Bachelor of Arts in general studies with concentrations on special education, psychology, and theatre/dance from Missouri State University.
