Ben Clouse Chief Financial Officer Ben Clouse is chief financial officer and a member of the CEO’s Cabinet for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. He oversees the Foundation’s financial management, planning, and reporting functions, ensuring resources are effectively aligned to support programmatic and strategic priorities. He also plays a critical leadership role in building systems that promote transparency, accountability, and impact across the organization. Clouse joins the Foundation with more than 25 years of executive experience across a range of industries. Most recently, he served as chief financial officer for CrossFirst Bankshares, Inc., where he led accounting, analytics, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and treasury functions, and played a key role in strategic growth initiatives. His previous leadership roles include serving as CFO at Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc., and executive positions at Airshare and H&R Block. Clouse earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy from Kansas State University.
