Dee Hamill

Program Officer, Entrepreneurship

Dee Hamill is a program officer for New Entrepreneurial Learning in Entrepreneurship at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. She is responsible for leading the development, growth, and day-to-day operations of the 1 Million Cups (1MC) program, as well as contributing to the development of the team’s larger, longer-term local entrepreneur community strategies.

Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Hamill was operations director at The Harbor Entrepreneur Center, where she worked on streamlining processes while maintaining the organization’s culture. Earlier, Hamill was a lead organizer of both 1MC and Startup Weekend in Jackson and Charleston, as well as the Southeast U.S. regional representative for 1MC.

Hamill holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Mississippi College.
