KaYing Vang Senior Evaluation & Learning Officer KaYing Vang is a senior evaluation and learning officer in Research, Learning, and Evaluation for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Vang was the chief executive officer and principal consultant with Innovation Data + Design Studio in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, where she collaborated with project partners using developmental, culturally responsive, and systems evaluation approaches. Vang also served as a community storyteller with the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin. She is a member of the American Evaluation Association and has volunteered with the Hmong American Education Fund as well as served on the board of the Minnesota International NGO Network for several years. Vang earned her Bachelor of Science degree in apparel and design development from University of Wisconsin – Stout, and her Master of Development Practice in international development, and is pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in evaluation studies from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
