Laurie Brown Program Manager – New Entrepreneurial Learning, Entrepreneurship Laurie Brown is a program manager – new entrepreneurial learning in Entrepreneurship for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where she manages the Kauffman FastTrac and 1 Million Cups programs. Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Brown was a strategic engagements program specialist for American Academy of Family Physicians, where she led the development and management of the organization’s national affinity programs, including customer acquisition, marketing strategy, communication planning, program implementation, vendor contracting, forecasting, and budget management. Earlier, Brown was director of operational strategy for Wellington, a strategic meetings and events agency that creates signature experiences through innovation design, execution, and brand curation. During her time at Wellington her portfolio of clients included BASF, Toyota, IPSS, CCPRF, the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, and the Kauffman Foundation. As director of strategy, she focused on strategic planning and operational effectiveness. Brown has a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in entertainment management from Missouri State University.
