Murray Woodard

Murray Woodard is an engagement manager for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where he builds and strengthens external relationships, manages learning opportunities, as well as evaluates and recommends community engagement practices throughout the Foundation.

Previously, Woodard served as a program officer in Education, managing education-focused initiatives through program development, program management, building relationships, and grantmaking. Earlier, he was an external partnership coordinator for Kauffman Scholars, Inc. (KSI), serving as an integral part of the operations team. He was involved in all aspects of developing and maintaining external program partnerships, corporate partnerships, and postsecondary initiatives.

Woodard earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Central Missouri. In addition, he was awarded a certificate in grantsmanship from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
