Ross Jensby Communications Officer Ross Jensby is a communications officer – operating programs with the Strategic Communications team for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. He provides primary communications support for the Foundation’s operating programs, including Kauffman FastTrac, 1 Million Cups, Real World Learning, and Real World Initiatives (ProX), where he ensures communications for each program are clear, consistent, and aligned with both program goals and the broader Foundation brand. Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Jensby was an impact communications specialist with the Health Forward Foundation, where he led communications efforts across multiple program areas to highlight philanthropic impact and community partnerships. Earlier, he co-founded, named, and branded Jens “Bees” Honey and Produce in Beatrice, Nebraska, a business that cared for 45 beehives and sold honey and garden-grown produce at regional farmers’ markets. He volunteers with Uplift’s mobile street outreach to unhoused neighbors and serves as a local leader for the Kansas City chapter of The Communications Network. Jensby earned his Bachelor of Arts in public relations and Bachelor of Arts in political science from Kansas State University.
