Salvador Ocampo Jr.

Salvador Ocampo Jr. is a real world learning officer – educator programming and learning in Operating Programs for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where he leads the efforts related to Real World Learning’s MVA Educator Network to ensure that teachers have professional development and peer support when implementing Market Value Assets in the classroom. Ocampo serves as our subject matter expert for the Client-Connected Projects MVA and College Credit MVA.

Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Ocampo was part of the Human Resources MBA Leadership program at Emerson Electric, where he worked with the vice president of Human Resources and was responsible for managing projects regarding employee relations, safety and ethics, HRIS operations, data analytics, and the greater HR strategy. Earlier, Ocampo spent two years as a mathematics and education teacher with Teach for America in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to his classroom duties, Ocampo served as head coach of the boys’ soccer team at the school. Ocampo is on the alumni leadership council for Teach for America – Kansas City.

Ocampo has a Master of Business Administration from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
