Sara Lonergan Managing Director Sara Lonergan is a managing director in Investments for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where she leads the team toward growing the Foundation’s endowment, working collaboratively to develop strategies for allocating capital across a wide range of asset categories and managing a roster of external investment firms that implement specific strategies on the Foundation’s behalf. Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Lonergan was an investment director for the Tufts University Investment Office, where she helped to oversee the university’s $3.1 billion endowment. Lonergan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and psychology from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and her Master of Business Administration in finance, marketing, and social enterprise from the Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Illinois.
