Steve LaNasa Educator-in-Residence, Education Steve LaNasa in an educator-in-residence in Education for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. He works on activities related to credentialing, stackable credits, and degree-bearing programs, specifically research, landscape analysis, and recommendations for possible collaborative activities and investments. LaNasa is currently a board member at the Metropolitan Community College Foundation in Kansas City. He served as senior vice president and chief administrative officer with Skilled KC Technical Institute and as the director of the National Higher Education Benchmarking Institute. Previously he served as president of Donnelly College and was an associate dean and assistant professor of higher education in the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s School of Education. LaNasa earned his Ph.D. from Penn State University where he served in the Center for the Study of Higher Education.
