Kansas City Scholars Evaluation RFP

The RFP opens January 20, 2026 and closes February 13, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation is seeking proposals to conduct a mixed-methods evaluation of the Kansas City Scholars (KC Scholars) scholarship program. KC Scholars, now a program of Great Jobs KC, provides scholarships, coaching, and career-connected supports to help low-income students and adult learners in the Kansas City region access and complete post-secondary education and transition into quality jobs, continuing a long-standing Kauffman Foundation investment in opportunity and mobility.

The purpose of this evaluation is to:

  • Identify implementation successes and challenges,
  • Assess key program outcomes, and
  • Provide evidence-based recommendations to guide continuous improvement.

Experience with scholarships and college coaching models, as well as alignment with the Foundation’s strategic priorities, is ideal. The ideal evaluator will bring expertise in evaluation with a demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights that strengthen program impact and scalability.
